We engineered the inside diameter of the 2-1/2 In. side of this fitting to duplicate the 2-1/2 In. opening on your shop vacuum. Insert the shop vacuum hose directly to the 2-1/2 In. side of the fitting. The outside diameters match our standard dust collection hose to function as regular reducers. Please note that this item is not designed to fit directly to a machine’s dust collection port. To connect directly to a standard dust port, use with D4620 Double-Sided Quick Connect.
